Cabo Rosa Tunnels Snorkel Tour Itinerary (Isabela)

Around 7:30–8:00 a.m. – Hotel Pickup & Gear Prep

Pickup from your hotel in Puerto Villamil, then transfer to our office for snorkel gear fitting and orientation.

Morning – Boat Ride to Los Tunnels

Board the boat for approximately 40 minutes to Cabo Rosa. On the way, enjoy scenic views and wildlife spotting such as pelicans, blue‑footed boobies, turtles, and manta rays.

Mid-morning – Land Hike at Cabo Rosa (~30 minutes)

Walk among volcanic lava formations, mangroves, and candelabra cacti with your naturalist guide.

Late morning – Snorkel at Los Tunnels & El Finado

Snorkeling sessions in two prime locations: swim in clear waters with marine turtles, white‑tip sharks, seahorses, penguins (seasonal), rays, and tropical fish.

Early afternoon – Return to Puerto Villamil

Prepare for the return boat ride and conclude the tour back in Puerto Villamil at approximately 12 and 1 PM. Times may vary depending on sea conditions.

Afternoon Option

There’s also an afternoon schedule available, usually starting late morning, around 11 a.m., and ending around 4:30 p.m., with the same route and wildlife opportunities.

Times are approximate and may vary depending on ocean and external factors. Itinerary subject to changes by the Galápagos National Park and your naturalist guide. Full safety and hygiene protocols are followed: all equipment is disinfected between uses; the boat and agency are cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer is available at all times.
