Tour Description & Itinerary
Around 10:00 a.m. – Hotel Pickup
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Villamil and begin the journey by road toward the highlands of Isabela.
Mid-morning – Arrival at Volcán Trillizos
Reach the site where your instructor will provide safety gear and instructions for the rappel activity.
Before the rappel – Geology & Volcano History Briefing
Learn about the volcano’s formation, geological evolution, and its significance in Galápagos’ ecosystem.
Late morning – Rappel Descent (~500 feet)
Experience a thrilling 500‑foot rappel into the crater walls. Descend carefully and soak in dramatic volcanic views.
After the climb – Snack & Fruit Tasting
Once back at the top, relax and enjoy seasonal snacks and fresh fruits while you absorb the surroundings.
Early afternoon – Return Journey
Transport back toward Puerto Villamil, enjoying final views of Isabela’s volcanic terrain.
By mid-afternoon – Arrival at Hotel
