Itinerary
6:35 a.m. – Meeting Point in Puerto Ayora
All passengers must arrive at the meeting point indicated by GALAISLAND staff, located in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. Here begins the full‑day excursion to Bartolomé Island.
7:00 a.m. – Transfer to Itabaca Channel (~45 minutes)
Land transfer to the Itabaca Channel on the north coast of Santa Cruz to board the boat.
Morning – Navigation toward Bartolomé via Daphne Mayor
Begin the navigation to Bartolomé Island, passing by Daphne Mayor Islet. Enjoy views and possible seabird sightings.
Late morning – Arrival at Bartolomé & Guided Walk to the Viewpoint
Upon arrival, receive a short briefing on the island’s flora, fauna, and history. Climb the 360 steps to the viewpoint for panoramic views of Pinnacle Rock and surrounding islands.
Around midday – Snorkeling at Bartolomé or Sullivan Bay
Snorkel in the turquoise waters of Bartolomé or Sullivan Bay, encountering penguins, tropical fish, reef sharks, sea turtles, and playful sea lions.
Early afternoon – Lunch Onboard
Enjoy lunch served on the boat while anchored near Bartolomé before beginning the return journey.
2:30 p.m. – Departure from Bartolomé
Begin the navigation back to Santa Cruz.
4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Arrival at the Santa Cruz pier
Estimated arrival time at the main dock in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island, followed by passenger disembarkation and end of services.
